Free tool – Dictionary Definitions Google Gadget

How many times have you read or heard a word and didn’t know its real meaning? How many times did you want to find synonyms because you wanted to “add punch” to an article or document? My guess is: many times.

You could use a hardcover dictionary but it’s slow and cumbersome to carry. I don’t know about you but I’ve been there many times so that’s why I decided to create a Google Gadget that will allow me to do just that: Look up a word and get back its definition and some synonyms.

The Gadget’s logic is simple: Type in a word, pick an online dictionary (from a list of over 70 dictionary databases at dict.org) and a lookup method and hit the button. As simple as that. You can lookup a word in one of the translating dictionaries and get the word’s translation.

Let me know what you think
