Stopping Annoying Callers

Posted on : 24-03-2009 | By : admin | In : Advertising, Free, Internet marketing

Ever since the phone became common among us, people have been harassed by annoying callers, be it telemarketers, prank callers or debt collectors. And although there are laws against them, they become pretty useless unless you know who’s calling.

That’s why I was very pleased to find a rather new website called Who Called my Phone? This website is a community effort to identify these annoying (and often intrusive) callers by identifying them and sharing the information with the rest of the site’s users. Their growing database is accessible using a search form, making it very easy to find out who’s calling and from there, be able to defend yourself against them.

Posted on : 21-03-2009 | By : admin | In : Internet marketing, Marketing

Everyone who has ever tried to build a business (or launch a new product) knows that building a lead (and customer) list is one of the building blocks of every internet marketer’s activities.

Lists are used to inform the interested parties about your business and your latest offers, as well as events you’re appearing on. Being so time-intensive, it requires an great deal of effort to gather meaningful, useful email addresses to start building a customer mailing list, say, a mortgage mailing list.

This implies a lot of work and can often offset your attention from your most important business task: Creating and selling your products and services. As such, you want to rely on trusted parties to accomplish this list-building takss because so that you can focus on contacting them and selling your products and accomplishing your main objective: generate meaningful mailing leads. As such, It is very important to seek the  right help in order to reduce this burden and avoid wasting time on dead-end leads.

But the question remains: How do you find a reliable list-building partner? Recently i found an interesting site called “heritage lists”. They they offer quality mailing, telemarketing and fax lists coupled with other innovative marketing strategies that can help you succeed in creating a juicy leads database. Because contacting all the people can also take a big deal of time, you may also rely on them for almost all the usual listing services, starting from contacting people from  a marketing list, and taking advantage of fresh, focused marketing lists.

The power of Internet Marketing

Posted on : 15-10-2008 | By : admin | In : Advertising, Internet marketing

Using the Internet to earn money online, whether selling stuff, writing articles or offering your marketing talent to others, is getting an increasingly lucrative job. This evolving activity has at is very core flexibility of time and place to carry out innovative online commercial endeavours.

This trend, once only attractive to freelancers and venture capitalists has spread out to even those professionals who have been dedicating their life to offline businesses for years and have found that they needed to embrace online commerce to survive in their jobs.

There are many options to choose from: blogging, freelance writing, or Internet marketing. This last category is most popular among companies of all sizes thanks to powerful internet marketing tools that make exposing their products and their company itself much simpler.

The trouble is that people don’t always know how or where get these tools from and it often makes businesses to drop the idea and either hire someone else or stick to traditional marketing strategies. In either case, they often waste money as no-one understand their businesses as its owners.

What to do then? Well, a place to start would be MarketingMule, a website devoted to online marketing, its tools and tricks. The site offers tools and advice to businesses of all sizes (although it would fit more the mid-size type) on Link Building, SEO and related categories. One of my favourite tools featured at the site is called Glyphius, an interactive copywriting tool to create and test ads.

No matter what you are looking for, this site has the right tool for you. Not only that but it also has a lot of information on online marketing, making it a wil-or-win deal and I guarantee it will not waste your time.

Focus on what you do best

Posted on : 06-09-2008 | By : admin | In : Advertising, Business Opportunities, Internet marketing

When advertising a product, a company cannot afford to do things “the best they can” or by looking at what others have done and try to replicate it. We need an advertising expert and that’s where advertising agencies become useful because they  can create manage branding strategies, marketing campaigns and sales promotions for us while we concentrate our efforts in what we know best: developing and selling our products and services.

An advertising agency can develop and monitor your advertising campaign to make sure your ads are run as your plan. They can also analyze your results on a regular basis and determine whether any changes need to be made. Frank Ginsberg told some people in a cabana cachaca campaign that “advertising for spirits brands has become very watered down in recent years”.

For an advertising agency to be of any real use, it’s very important to realize that they must increase sales. As  said Frank Ginsberg, chairman and CEO Avrett Free Ginsberg said once, ”Advertising cannot be an transitional or a bridge career”. And his words should not be taken lightly as Avrett Free Ginsberg (AFG) is renowned as a full service marketing communications agency in New York.

Avrett Free Ginsberg with their CEO and chairman Frank Ginsberg is a freestanding, autonomous agency within the interpublic group. They are a full service marketing communication agency staffed by professionals. They also developed great team work culture in their company. This agency commonly handles broad range of accounts, from food, finance, media, finance, media and high end luxury good. The right choice for advertise your products.

Learning from other people

Posted on : 08-08-2008 | By : admin | In : Business Opportunities, Internet marketing, Marketing, SEO, small business

My professional life has leaned towards marketing lately (in addition to web project management and complex website development) and, if anything, I’ve learned this: It is getting increasingly difficult to to stay on top of the latest approaches to web promotion and internet marketing and search engine optimization, especially on how to make the best use of the technology available these days in order to promote a website/brand/product.

The Internet is growing at gigantic steps and changing everything we see and know as it creates new avenues for collecting information, new ways to present it and new ways to analyze and respond to that information. And the only way to do this is to listen/read to those that have and edge on these matters.

A few days ago, I came across a new blog (it’s only 2 months old) with a strong focus on Internet marketing techniques and tactics. The blog is written for regular people (although it has strong technical concepts to back it up), which makes it simple to understand, in contract with all that techie-style articles that make people run off .

The blog’s authors discuss search engine optimization and all the other buzzwords that make the Internet such a valuable yet somewhat difficult to tame tool. I also like that the fact that the blogger recognizes the importance of reputation management as it is an important factor is a lot of people’s buying decisions and which very few, with a few honorable exceptions, have been able to bring to the forefront of small business and franchise branding concerns.

To sum it all up, If you have an interest in Internet Marketing, search engine optimization, brand management, etc. stop by the Reciprocal Consulting site as it’s a sure bet that you’ll find interesting and helpful articles, tips and general advice on how to best promote your site (or your client’s). If you like their style you might even find a business reason for hooking up your company with their marketing services and further enhance your presence and user-awareness on the web.
